Karina is a Contract Designer at Abara, where she uses her architectural education to help design and work with restoring the Historic Hacienda.
Karina recently graduated with her B.A. of Science in Architecture from the Architecture School at Texas Tech El Paso where she began to learn about border encounters. She also holds a Certificate in Historic Preservation from Texas Tech.
It was through her school that she got connected with Abara and began to work side by side with the architect. She has the heart to serve and give back to her local community by doing volunteer work and helping out friends and family.
Karina’s family roots run deep in El Paso. In her spare time, she enjoys running, growing relationships, and growing her plants.
